The second ToScA North America symposium took place at the University of Florida in Gainesville March 6-8. More than 100 attendees from nearly 50 institutions and companies in seven countries came together for three days of workshops, talks, posters and lightning talks, and an image competition, all centered around X-ray, synchrotron, and neutron tomography.
Presentations covered everything from mummies to meteorites, foams to fish, beetles to Blob3D, and coprolites to cement. The symposium program can be downloaded here.
Thanks again to our sponsors for their support at the Platinum (Thermo Fisher Scientific, Tescan), Gold (Zeiss, ORS) and Silver (Hitachi, Volume Graphics, Yxlon, Micro Photonics Inc., Nikon, North Star Imaging) levels. Thank you also to the local committee at the University of Florida (Ed Stanley, Ana Bohórquez, Gary Scheiffele and Luisa Amelia Dempere) for doing a fantastic job organizing the symposium!
