The University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility (UTCT) will host a short course on the fundamentals of acquisition, visualization, analysis, and mobilization of high-resolution X-ray CT (HRXCT) data March 2-4, 2020.
This course will present an overview of the acquisition and interpretation of HRXCT data, followed by hands-on training in the 3D visualization and analysis of these data using ImageJ, Avizo, and Dragonfly. Participants will also receive an orientation to navigating and uploading data to MorphoSource.
This course is sponsored by the National Science Foundation and funds are available to cover the cost of domestic travel, lodging, and meals. There is no charge to attend. Because space is limited, we will not be able to accommodate all applicants. Preference will be given to applicants who are consumers of oVert and/or MorphoSource data.
To apply for this course, please email an application statement (limit of ~300 words) to Dr. Jessie Maisano no later than Friday, January 10 that briefly outlines:
1) Relevant biographical information (including your academic affiliations and your status as student or faculty/staff ); and
