Meteorite impact glass (single scan)

Single scan of a meteorite impact glass, showing a compact clast inclusion of higher and lower density material. Folded structure of glass is visible both defined by subtle density differences in the matrix as well as by the alignment of the vesicles. Dark line in upper right is a fracture.
